Have you ever wondered why we worship the way we do, why we practice certain traditions, or why the church has developed the rhythms and patterns that shape our faith? In this sermon series, inspired by Dyron Daughrity’s book Roots: Uncovering Why We Do What We Do in Church, we take a closer look at the history, meaning, and biblical foundations behind the practices of the church.
Rather than simply going through the motions, we will discover the purpose behind what we do, explore the roots of our faith, and gain a deeper appreciation for the biblical principles that shape our worship and Christian lives. Because understanding why we do what we do helps us move beyond tradition and toward a faith that is intentional, meaningful, and rooted in Christ.
