Evangelist

Bill Hardy

Bill Hardy currently serves as a Minister and as an Elder for the Palestine Church of Christ in Palestine, Texas.  Over the past 45 years, he has also served as a youth minister, senior minister, evangelist, elder, and missionary. He has served as director at church youth camps, spoken at church lectureships, and served as an instructor at evangelistic workshops. He has also served on the board of directors of various civic and ministering organizations.

He also worked in the department of psychiatry in VA hospitals and the Federal system in Oklahoma and Kansas for 15 years before being recruited  by  the  University of Texas  Medical   Branch (UTMB) in 1996.  He worked for UTMB for 23 years providing psychiatric care via UTMB contracted services within Texas Department of Criminal Justice before retiring in 2017.

Bill was commissioned as a Medical Officer in the Army National Guard in 1983 and rose to the rank of full Colonel before retiring after 33 years of service.

Bill has been married Kathryn Phillips Hardy since 1980. They have five children, five grandsons, and two granddaughters.  Bill and Kathy have served with Gospel Sharing Ministries,  Sojourners, and Home Missions. 




Associate Minister

Raymond Moore

Raymond is a native Texan growing up in Irving, Texas.  After retiring as a truck driver, he has devoted his life to serving Christ and to his wife Carla.

He obeyed the gospel late in life at the age of 57 and has since studied online at Sunset School of Preaching. Raymond is a Certified Volunteer Chaplain for Texas Department of Criminal Justice and an Instructor in New Life Behavior Ministries.

Raymond serves as interim preacher at a number of different churches such as Centerville, Buffalo, Elkhart, Oakwood, Madisonville, Van, La Poynor, and  Bullard, filling in whenever the opportunity arises. He is also a member of Church of Christ Sojourners, traveling to various locations, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

In 2017, He also began serving as an associate  preacher here at the Palestine Church of Christ.

 




Dwayne Hagemeier

Dwayne Hagemeier has been involved in the Lord’s Church his entire life. Born as the son of a preacher, he obeyed the gospel of Christ as a young boy. He graduated from New Caney High school in 1973 and spent much of his young adult life working for the railroad in Houston, Texas. In 1983 Dwayne moved to the Elkhart, Texas, area and is now owner of a home inspection firm and training company.

He is a founding member of the Church of Christ of Palestine where he teaches bible classes to youth and adults and has also been called upon to preach for the congregation. Dwayne has served as an Elder in the church and is currently serving as a Deacon.

Dwayne is married to Deborah and together they have 4 children; Amanda, Jeffery, Michael, and Angela. They are blessed with 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
