Congregational Relationships

1.  1 John 4.7-8 nothing clearer than this:

Beloved, let us ___________________________ one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is ____________________.

2.  1 John 5.1 means whoever loves the Father loves His _____________.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

3.  Being servants of one another (grows out of love) Galatians 5.13

3 For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be _________ one to another.

4.  John 13.14  --If I your Lord wash your feet… you should wash ___________________       __________________________________.

5. Family—the church is a family;  this figure itself speaks of our relationship.

1 Tim. 3.15— But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

6. Elders/Deacons/ Preachers

3 things to preserve in relationship to the church

a. ____________________________ and care for the flock they serve

b. They should be _______________________--because they are responsible to God as they serve

c. They should be ________________________

1 Peter 5.3—Neither as lording it over the charge allotted to you, but making yourselves ensamples to the flock

7. 1 Thessalonians 5.12- 13—-But we beseech you, brethren, to ________________________ them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

It means more than acquaintance.  It means acknowledge who they are and respect and value them for what they do.
